AIMING for PERFECTION

Tracked from soil to oil

At SweetHeal we use the scientific method to ensure that those milligrams of CBD will remain consistent from the moment we formulate it until it is in your hands.

We are able to do small-batch quality-controlled recipes that are entirely repeatable. We ensure that we have extensive lab testing on everything from the bases and distillates that we use to the plant’s profile.
From the minute that plant grows until the day it comes out of its extraction process, we know its terpene and cannabinoid profile.

But because we also believe in the plant’s full spectrum characteristics, some products will have a higher concentration of CBC or CBG in them. We trust nature.

The cleanest distillates

Unlike many larger CBD companies, we don’t use CO2 or any petroleum based hydrocarbons at any point in our process. We use natural, clean, food-grade ethanol for our cannabinoid extraction and industry standard wiped film distillation for our refinement.  The result is a clean, pure CBD oil that is guaranteed to be free of solvents or other harmful compounds.

AIMING for PERFECTION

Tracked from soil to oil

At Sweet Heal, we use cutting edge extraction and distillation processes to make sure all the natural benefits found in the hemp plant are available to you in our products.  We monitor the health of our crop from seed to harvest and are constantly running 3rd party quality control tests on our manufactured goods to ensure you are getting exactly what your body needs.  This gives us the ability to track every bottle of lotion, tincture, or salve back to the plants from which they came.

Our state of the art manufacturing space allows us to create small-batch recipes that are accurately dosed, consistently mixed, and entirely reproducible. We ensure we have extensive lab testing on everything from the biochemistry of the flower in the field to the stock bases to our homemade CBD distillate to the finished product.

By and large, we don't modify or effect the natural plant in any way besides extracting and concentrating the naturally occurring compounds. We trust nature.

The cleanest distillates

We use decarboxylation and winterization to ensure the cleanest possible oil without any remaining particulates or damaging solvents.

Unlike many larger companies, we don't use CO2 or petroleum-based hydrocarbons in any stage of our processing. Instead, we choose to extract our cannabinoids using food-grade Ethanol and refine our distillate using a Wiped Film fractional distillation unit, a top-notch medical industry process.

SCIENCE BEHIND OUR OIL

bioavailability

As a result of our all-natural extraction and distillation processes, the CBD and other organic compounds that are present in the live hemp plant are also present in our full-spectrum CBD oil.  Nothing in the plant or oil gets chemically altered during processing and no foreign materials or solvents are used during the process.  This means our naturally distilled Sweet Heal oil has a higher degree of bioavailability than chemically extracted or refined oil may have.  From a consumer point of view, this means your body will more efficiently and completely absorb and incorporate the beneficial compounds than it would with CBD oil extracted with butane or other chemical extraction processes.  Cleaner oil means better physiological uptake which leads to better overall wellness.

total sustainability

As an environmentally-minded company, we do our best to run a self-sustaining, waste-free greenhouse and production facility. Besides extracting the valuable cannabinoids from the hemp plants, we also try to use all the leftovers productively. We produce hemp blend shirts, fire starters, hemp bricks, hemp plastics, and more. Any part of the plant we can’t use gets composted and helps nourish our live soil. At SweetHeal we want to inspire change throughout the industry. We strive to use EVERYTHING from our plants.

We make our own living soil from compost, leaves, forest materials, and organic food waste, and use this medium to grow our hemp.  A biodiverse living growing medium permits us to use fewer fertilizers, fewer pest management strategies, and develops a more holistically healthy plant.

SCIENCE BEHIND OUR OIL

bioavailability

Our distillate is still living. It has not been transformed or changed through chemical processes.
So, it has a higher level of bioavailability. Your body will absorb and process it in a very different context than something done with butane or other chemical extraction processes.

total sustainability

We produce hemp cotton shirts, fire starters, hemp bricks, hemp plastics, and more. At SweetHeal we want to inspire change in the industry. We use EVERYTHING from our plants.

We make our living soil and use it in our hemp; we use the stalk of our hemp as the browns, and we use the flower after we are done extracting it as part of the greens.
